Know Christ

Our number one goal is that everyone becomes a follower of Jesus. What does this look like?

01

God created you in His image! Genesis 1:27

02

As humans, we doubt God’s goodness. This posture causes us to follow our own way instead of God’s. This is what we call sin. It simply means missing the mark we were designed to hit. This internal corruption separated us in relationship from God. Romans 3:23

03

God provided Jesus to bridge the gap. He is the mediator between us and God the Father (1 Tim. 2:5). He lived a sinless life, but was killed. In that moment, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” 2 Corinthians 5:21. His death was in place of our death brought on by our sinful nature and choices.

04

This wasn’t the end, though. 3 Days later, we know that Jesus rose from the grave, defeating death hell and the grave. (Rev. 1:18; 1 Cor. 15:13-14).

05

Jesus invites us to follow Him. Paul, a writer of many letters teaching about Jesus, stated, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved” Romans 10:9-10 NIV. This is a process called repentance. It means to change your mind – to change your world view. You are no longer following your ways, you are following Christ’s.

This is what we want for everyone. We want, actually GOD wants you to turn from the direction you are headed – empty of fulfillment, full of disappointment, and full of meaninglessness, and turn to Him – a life full of promise, healing, and purpose. Would you do that today? You can pray this simple prayer. It isn’t the words that save you, it is the condition of your heart. “Dear Jesus, you state that the wages of my sin is death, but your gift is eternal life in You. I confess that I doubted your goodness. I have chosen sin in my life over and over. But I want to draw a line in the sand, and turn towards you. I confess that you are Lord and now Lord of my life, and believe in my heart you got up out of that grave. Come and make me new, from the inside out. Change me. Help me grow in the things of Christ everyday from this day forward. Amen.”

Congratulations!

If you did that, would you let us know by going to this link? We would like to put some free materials in your hand.
